My lavender is in bloom. I love walking past the bushes, smelling the fragrant buds and hearing the soft hum of the carpenter bees. The season for lavender is always too short and I can't bring myself to cut off the stalks and dry them for later use. So I bought the buds in bulk to fill these linen hearts.
